Edward L Canavan

[keepsake]

rolling down the mountain

long before daybreak

lighter in the dark air of leaving

terms conditioned

in the solitude of

saving grace

the set

the rise

the set

the cycle adorned

with presence reenvisioned

impermanence repurposed

as a permanent reminder

that nothing lasts forever.
