Yellow Sky
Sickening yellow cast
to the sky, not the sun
An illness roiling
the atmosphere
with no explanations
All the big mouths
deadened, suddenly
In the silence
everyone making believe
this is perfectly normal
I know a bad
yellow sky
doesn’t bode well
‘Cause, really
how much more can
a body take
